It has been such a wonderful experience mentoring my two senior students Dana Podell and Cailin Manning during their distinction research project. I am an honored to be have been nominated Outstanding Research Mentor. The awards are designed to recognize and honor individual faculty members who have performed exceptional service as research mentors for undergraduate students.

We realize that your work as a mentor has taken a great deal of time and dedication above and beyond your regular teaching, scholarship, and service activities.
